I blame Mama Jo for this one. So during Christmas vacation my family and my girlfriend's family merged for a holiday gathering, when Mama Jo (Katie's Mom) thought she was innocently creating casual holiday conversation by asking, "Does anyone watch Jon & Kate Plus 8?"
What she didn't realize was she had planted the seed that would culminate in 2 DAYS of watching this show's marathon on TLC just days later, and my anticipation of it's season premiere on January 7th.
At least if I ever do decide to have a child, one or two is NOTHING compared to what this couple goes through on a daily basis. (I'll just have to keep this show on my DVR to remind me of that when the time comes....)

I have been watching this for a while. Those kids are very adorable. Whatever you do, dont visit the TwOP boards. THey are very harsh on Kate. I think she does a great job with these kids personally

I love that show! Glad to know that there are others out there. They really seem to have their stuff together! I am PG with my first and can't imagine what it would be like with that many kids.

I love this show, but I have to admit, I do not like Kate at all. And neither do my friends who watch. I think she's doing a good job as a mother in difficult, unusual circumstances, but she's so mean to Jon! I am going to get an "I H8 K8" t-shirt made and see who gets it. IMHO.

I watched the two specials that preceded this show and watched the show for awhile. But I had to stop. I completely understand that it may be how it's edited, but it's just too hard for me to watch Kate berate Jon so much.

Jon and Kate + 8, just gets better, finally Jon took Kate to get new clothes! She seemed to geel guilty, I mean come on, after having 8 kids, it was the least he could do! This show is for anyone that has or is thinking of having kids, it is so much fun to watch Jon and Kate interact with their kids and the "world"! I hope they are taking the money and saving it for college - I'm sure Kate is! Oh my! You either love her or hate her, I think she is a true mother hen, control freak and very neurotic! But that's real life!
