SimCraft, Iron Man 2, and My Bragging Rights
Hey, I've got this great idea that I want to tell you about in hopes you will become an investor.
I think we all dream of having that one great invention someday, but many get flushed out with the rest of the chatter in our brains as time goes by. But for my friends that dream not only became a company but their product is actually IN a movie out THIS weekend.
And the fact that the movie I'm talking about is Iron Man 2, I'm enjoying my bragging rights for even knowing them.
The great idea is SimCraft, Advanced Motion Simulation for racing simulation and flight simulation. I first tried it out in their basement a couple years ago for a racing simulation. The framing allowed me the virtual experience of being a race car driver, as I felt the acceleration and the banking I saw on the screen in front of me. My thought, of course, was to have one of these in my house to hook up to my Playstation or Wii.
But Tony Stark already has one. In his ultimate Man Cave of testosteroney toys, Stark has a SimCraft set up and ready for use. Regardless of how long or short the shot is of this motion marvel, my friends' invention will be in theatres and is currently being sold around the world. Oh, did I just call it a motion MARVEL? The fact is my friends have been in meetings with Marvel for placement of their product in the movie. I get a geek tick every time I think about it. How cool.
Here's a screen shot from the film with a little direction on where to look:

So Friday night we'll be at their pre-Iron Man 2 party, playing in the SimCraft before going to see it on the big screen. By the way, can I get a DUI in a driving simulator?

This is incredibly COOL!! Not just that they invented it and got it in a movie, but that you're getting to see first hand the results of their hard work!! But I have to add this, knowing what a fan of Obama you are... do you know that under this new proposed "financial reform" law he's pushing, NOBODY would be able to invest in an idea like this, unless he/she could prove he/she had something like $2.5 million in LIQUID ASSETs IN THE BANK!! So you and I couldn't each decide to invest $10,000 of our money to be on the ground floor and help make this cool idea come to life... people who have so much creativity and so many great ideas need to fight against TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT REGULATION!! I don't want everything to be political, but my fear is that Obama (who admitted the other day that he believes gov't is the solution to any problem) does...
Kudos to your friends for this great invention... I hope they are able to make many, many more, and to get them out to the public the way THEY see fit!!
