The Bert Show in L.A. for American Idol

MONDAY

An early morning heading to the broadcast site at the Nokia Theater.  Remember, we're on West Coast time 3 HOURS behind Atlanta!  *yawn*

SUNDAY

DJ's from across the country gathered for Fox's Welcome Party at Rosa Mexicano.

SATURDAY

The view from my hotel room in Los Angeles, and the discovery that many of the Tour of California participants were staying in my hotel.  I tweeted that at the end of the day Michael Rogers accidentally knocked on my door.  He was embarrassed and I tried to lighten the situation by asking him how the race went, assuming he was a cyclist by the sponsored gear he still had on.  (I had no idea who he was, sorry cycling fans)  He thanked me and said he was able to keep the jersey before walking away.  That's when I knew he was someone I should have invited in.

My buddies in L.A. have now taken up golf and wanted to go hit some buckets before lunch.  A brave squirrel decided to get into the game.

Later that night I met up with another friend who took me to a really provocative play about the Gulf War called the Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
