A Dog Story That Will Break Your Heart

At least I have warned you, but this will make you embrace your love of dogs that much more.

The owner of a lawnmower shop in Texas was killed last Summer by a drunk driver.  But his best friend, Spot, still watches traffic to look for her master.  Even today.

At the same time every day, Spot hangs around a country road waiting for her owner to come home.

His son says, "It breaks my heart every time."

And who says animals have no souls.

I am an animal lover and it breaks my heart. I got a new bed in my room and my dog got so upset, he thought I was "going bye bye", that he was shaking and went poo poo all over the house. Animals are funny, they get into a routine and it comes as a shock to some people just how much information they retain. They are smarter than we think.
Love dogs & this story breaks my heart.

Did you hear about the Richard Gere movie "Hachi"? Remake of a true story of a dog in Japan that did this (waited for his master at the train station) for 9 years or something. The loyalty of these wonderful animals is amazing!!

The Japanese have erected a statue to that faithful dog, Hachi. It was placed at the train station where the dog waited every day for his dead master to return on the evening train. The statue is now a favorite place for people to meet.
